Summary: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Results
This database contains SAT scores for California school districts and schools. Scores include average verbal, reading, math, writing, and total. Because the SAT initially contained only two main sections (math and verbal), but now contains three sections (math, critical reading, and writing), not all categories are reported in all years, including the percentage of scores above 1000 and 1500. The maximum total score for tests with two sections (through year 2005) is 1600; the maximum for tests with three sections (2006-present) is 2400. Years reported refer to the first year of a traditional academic year, i.e., 2012 reflects test scores from the 2011-2012 academic year.
