This database contains free meal statistics for California schools and districts.  These statistics provide school-aged enrollment, the number of school-aged children receiving free meals at schools, and the number of children receiving Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) benefits. Data are collected in October of each school year.
