This database provides traffic congestion information for urban areas in the United States. Data are provided for costs, delays, fuel consumption, and related factors. A total of 498 urban areas are included for the category All 498 Areas; the 101 Area Average reflects 101 selected areas (Very large, large, medium, and small, as indicated) for which detailed data are reported.  See Traffic Congestion Background for a glossary of terms. 

 The source for these data has indicated that the next update, scheduled for late 2015, will contain data thru 2014.
