The database provides federal budget receipts by source. Data reflect Fiscal Years (Oct. 1-Sept. 30) and exclude the transition quarter in 1976-1977.  Data from 2015 to 2020 are estimates.

• Beginning in 1987, Corporate Income Taxes includes trust fund receipts for the hazardous substance superfund. In 1989 and 1990, includes trust fund receipts for the supplementary medical insurance trust fund.
• Other receipts includes Estate and Gift Taxes, Customs Duties and Fees, and Miscellaneous receipts.
