This database contains annual estimates of resident population by age, sex, and bridged race categories as of July 1st of each year.  Bridged race categories reflect consistent categories from different data collection efforts.  

The estimates are based on Census 2000 and result from bridging older postcensal estimates with the 31 race groups used in Census 2000.
