Summary: Per capita availability of selected fruits and vegetables

This database provides per capita availability of selected fruits and vegetables.  This measures food supplies moving from production through domestic consumption and is often used to a proxy for actual food consumption. All data are provided in fresh-weight equivalent pounds.  Totals for both fruit and vegetables equal the sum of fresh and processed.  Processed equals the sum of processing types, e.g., frozen, canned, dried, juice.
